It's been a week since our last post but we here at Catalyst International Realty have been swamped for the end of year.

CATALYST INTERNATIONAL REALTY will be closed from December 21, 2009- January 10, 2010. We will reopen on January 11, 2010. Except for previously scheduled closings.

We will be closing for the holidays as well as restructuring our company. and relocating our offices.

Have a great holiday. Look forward to seeing and working with you in 2010.

Its been hectic few days. I haven't had time to post. I've had several property inspections in the past few days. I have also had several very important meetings and have been partying almost every night this week.

I have finally found a new space to commit to yesterday. The year is ending perfectly and right on schedule. Our last day of work will be on December 20, 2009. We will schedule any and all closings then. After that we will close any deals after the new year.

I woke up today with really swollen eyes so I am unable to leave my house. I am unsure as to the reason but if it happens again I will be going to seek medical attention.

I will finish up my christmas shopping today. Even though I hate ordering on a Saturday since the shipment isn't usually sent out until Monday so why not just wait till Monday? Hmm I'll think about that.

We'll I must rest my eyes for a few. I will see you again soon.

Its a rainy day today. I have 3 scheduled inspections today with the first one beginning @ 9:00am each lasting 4 hours each.

These inspections were scheduled 2 weeks ago and we had no idea that the weather would be like it is. Have no fear we will be there. I am running late so I can't say much I will post more in between blogs. I also have to track down UPS because I missed my phone delivery yesterday.. Hmmm..

Catalyst International Realty Tuesday Dec 8, 2009

Its 7:30am and we are up and running. I spoke to a client in Japan @ 7:00amEST. I received some really great news via email overnight so my day has started on a good note.

On the other hand I think I may have once again taken a bullet because of the incompetence on another attorney. I won't know for sure until 9:00am but lets hope for the best.

I am heading into the city to my NYC office then breakfast meeting. I also have an hearing to
provide support to a former employee in his court case.

Following that hearing I will be meeting with the new staff member to get him up to speed as far as his duties would be concerned. Due to a previous commitment he will not start working for another week but he will be well prepared when he does.

This is just half of the day. I must contact Ephraim and Anthony today and get the information to complete these two deals. It doesn't take a lot of negotiating when the end of the year is near :-).

This afternoon will be Real Estate Business till 7:00pm.


(Sidetrack) Am I the only one tired of hearing of Tiger Woodie. I mean he is up to #10. Geesh I want to turn off the news or change the Channel..Lol***


Back to work issues. It's now 7:47am and I am gearing to go. See you in the city by 9am wish me luck. To be continued*******

Catalyst International Realty Sunday In The City

Catalyst International is working today. Last night in NY we had a little snow but its sunny today.

I just spoke to a client Paul who is look for a car to purchase. I know Catalyst is a Real Estate company but if clients need anything we are there to find it as well. The high end car dealers are closed today so it will have to wait until tomorrow but I will do the research so I am prepared to find what he is looking for.

We will also not be attending any open houses today. It's just research and thats it. Maybe some online shopping too. I have a client looking for a condo DTB (Downtown Brooklyn). I also have a client looking for something in Fort Greene and Williamsburg. I have to also find some property in Miami Beach and Los Angeles. Thank God for the internet and connection with other Brokers to make this at all possible.

I am going to get to the research of these properties so that when the client calls I can have an answer. I'll try won't cut it. These clients need results. End of year.. Christmas bonuses etc..
I'm off to get this work done. I will keep you posted.

Catalyst International Realty Saturday in the City

Today is Saturday, December 5, 2009. It is cloudy in New York. It is also very cold. It is now 3:06pm. I am usually out and about at this time but I have decided to stay home and relax to prepare for the coming week.

I have a lot of paperwork to do and also to review. The end of the year is here and we have to close as many deals as we possibly can before the New Year. We also have to restructure the company so everything will transition smoothly come January 2010. I am in negotiations presently with 2 spaces. It will be great. The location will be the deciding factor. One is a duplex penthouse. The other is just a penthouse, basically the same thing (Just the top floor) :-). This should be interesting. We are also working on our site (finally) and new staff. I have found one new staff member. He will be seasonal until after the new year we will decide whether or not to consider him for full time employment.

Catalyst International Realty is focusing on being more of Buyers Brokers this coming year as well. We have to keep our company small and close to the vest because you never know what other brokers intentions are. We are adding rentals and merging with a property management firm to provide that service as well.

We will be as of the new year traveling with a camera crew for obvious reasons. I will keep you posted as to where I am and what I'll be doing next. I'm now going to update my twitter and facebook status. Then get some work done.

I would like to blog my thoughts and daily activities from today on. It's interesting being a Buyer's Broker in this time , season or "recession".


I operate out of New York City, Long Island & Brooklyn, NY. We specialize in Luxury Homes & Condo's. In these areas and will also locate properties for you anywhere in the world. To date we have also closed deals in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, California & Nevada. As of December 1, 2009 Catalyst International Realty have added Rentals to our agency. In the past we have only concentrated on sales but we have expanded now to Rentals, Management & Financial Services.


As a Buyer's Broker you represent the buyer's interest usually. I always think as a consumer and friend not just a broker. Its not always about the commission. You want to be compensated for your work but not only that. You want to give the best advise possible. Thant client will refer you to others for being honest and not just because you want to make a sale.
This blog will track deals, events, activities, clients (Confidentially) of course and may give insite to agents or anyone interested in representing buyers in a real estate deal.

It's Friday afternoon @ 2:43pm So far the day has not been the best. I lost my iPhone. I have to wait until Monday/Tuesday to get a replacement. I have 2 appointments left today but have to email clients since numbers are in that phone.

It's 3pm time for my next appointment. The client was a referral and wants Catalyst to find a condo in DTB Downtown Brooklyn. After that will be heading to Long Island to show 2 houses on the North Shore. I will keep you posted as to how it went. Speak to you soon.
